Who are you pleasing?

Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ. (‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ NIV)
And everyone will hate you because you are my followers. But not a hair of your head will perish! By standing firm, you will win your souls.
Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!” (‭Luke‬ ‭21‬:‭17-19, 27-28‬ NLT)
So this is where I think where the line is drawn with many believers, especially the youth, between who is and who isn’t really willing to please God. Living as a true follower of Christ means being ready to accept opposition, being willing to be seen as an outcast, make a fool of yourself… In order to honor God.
People who please man don’t wanna do that. They’ll rather fall under peer pressure than fall under grace. They care too much about what people think of them if they’re a radical believer…If they really put on the cross and preach and act on the word of God. These people won’t boldly speak against the things God doesn’t approve of because the don’t want others to dislike them. They want to say yeah I believe in God but they desire to be “chill” in the sense that they won’t exercise their belief to the point where others won’t like to be around them. Because having people in their life is so important, pleasing man is so important…that they don’t mind watering down their faith. Little do they know that they’re equivalent to someone without faith.
