(Hey Big Head) Merry Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE

Jesus is the reason for the season y'all! This year has been a challenging one, very evident on my part being that I haven't posted in months but all is well! Getting back to it by the grace of God, and if you all could keep me in your prayers regarding the direction of this blog I would appreciate it!

We have all have our reasons for why 2016 may have been the worse or best year for us, but the bottom line is that you're still here! The world as you may know it may be at its worse, but you're still standing on it. There's still a purpose and a vision God has for your life that needs to come to pass. Believe it or not, better days are coming. But we must stop focusing on the circumstance of this world and start focusing on the Creator of this world, for He is the author and finisher of our faith! He's the only one who can transform your mess into His masterpiece. So this season, if you have yet to build a relationship with Christ, you can do so right now and enter the new year as a new creation. If you know for sure that your relationship is lacking, then rekindle that fire today. Not because of bomb holiday church service or online sermon, but because you made the decision in your heart to stop sitting back waiting on blessings and start drawing to the Father and equipping yourself for His work!

God is someone who pays attention to details, and He took the time to create you in all of your complexity and uniqueness. Anytime you think less of yourself or your journey compared to others, anytime you begin to worry or doubt that what God says will actually come to pass, read His word and remind yourself what the Father says about you!

Matthew 6: 25-29 (NLT)

That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn’t life more than food, and your body more than clothing? Look at the birds. They don’t plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. And aren’t you far more valuable to him than they are? Can all your worries add a single moment to your life? “And why worry about your clothing? Look at the lilies of the field and how they grow. They don’t work or make their clothing, yet Solomon in all his glory was not dressed as beautifully as they are."

---lets transition to MSG for verses 30-33 because too much fire---

“If God gives such attention to the appearance of wildflowers—most of which are never even seen—don’t you think he’ll attend to you, take pride in you, do his best for you? What I’m trying to do here is to get you to relax, to not be so preoccupied with getting, so you can respond to God’s giving. People who don’t know God and the way he works fuss over these things, but you know both God and how he works. Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions. Don’t worry about missing out. You’ll find all your everyday human concerns will be met."

What this really a Christmas post? Yes and no, I wasn't sure what God was going to place on my heart when I started typing. I just knew I had to start writing. In my most pressing and challenging times, He will draw something out of me that will encourage and bless you! So whatever the topic or testimony or circumstance, I just have be willing and able to share His Word. So let's just consider this a welcome back! May the almighty Father bless you as you read and may you have a joyous Christmas!

Much Love
-Angela
